We are Googie Modern, makers of modern, hand-crafted home furnishings and furniture.
​
Our company started with a simple table built by Glenn and painted for fun by Nita. It was so successful that it pushed us into starting something we have been talking about for years.

As designers, it’s always been a challenge to find unique, high-quality furniture that’s also visually beautiful – so we began making it ourselves.

We take ideas from Googie architecture and apply them on a small scale to our own designs. We aim to go beyond trends and make pieces that people love to live with. The furniture reflects the vibrant colors and patterns seen throughout the mid-century in Populux culture, as well as classic forms. With a current focus on cocktail tables, Googie Modern will expand its design horizons offering an array of in-house designed furniture and functional objects. Everything is made by hand in our studio, which we launched in 2018.
